INTERDENOMINATIONAL PRAYERS AND

A THOUSAND CANDLE VIGIL

Sunday September 30th from 3pm to 5 pm

The Mill Valley Community Center

180 Camino Alto Mill Valley, CA

The Venerable Arjia Rinpoche invites people of all faiths and religious communities to gather together in prayer for world peace. He requests leaders from these taiths take part in leading prayers. All religious leaders interested in taking part should contact the number bellow.

We will begin by honoring the Tibetan Buddhist tradition followed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and other Tibetan high gurus with prayers for the deceased and for all beings. This tradition prays for the deceased on the seventh day after death and on each subsequent seventh day until day 49. The Buddhist ceremony will honor the third cycle of the seventh day prayers.

All are welcome to join together at this time of grief to pray and light 1000 candles.

Donations will be accepted on behalf of the Red Cross. Candles will be provided.
